Affiliate Disclosure

The Best Of Kitchen And Dining

Hi. Your host and guide Paul Mindra here at the Best Of Kitchen And Dining (www.paulmindra.com) herinafter ‘This Site.’

This is an important message so, please read.

In 2015, the Federal Trade Commission released their new rules for Disclosure ComplianceThese rules were set in place to ensure that readers or viewers of web media (Blogs, Websites, Youtube videos, etc.) know if the blogger/presenter is sponsored, endorsed, or partnered with a different company. In blog terms or website terms, the readers need to know if the blogger/website owner is making money by sharing a link to a specific product or service or is being paid to offer reviews and recommendations.

I’ve always believed in being transparent on the Internet and in compliance with the FTC Guidelines. I am disclosing that I’ve included certain products and services on this site and provided links to those products and services so that I will earn an affiliate commission for any purchases that you choose to make.

As this site grows it will become nearly impossible to list each and every program that I have an affiliate agreement with so, in compliance with the above FTC Guidelines you should just assume that any links leading to products or services may be affiliate links that I will be receiving compensation from.

I will also post the following disclosure where deemed applicable.

[Full Disclosure: As an Internet Marketer, I receive compensation if you purchase through any links on this site, page, post or articles including advertising].

What Is An Affiliate Link?

An Affiliate Link is a special URL that contains the ID or Username of an Affiliate. This URL is used by an advertiser to track all the traffic the affiliate sends to the advertiser’s site as part of the affiliate program.

Eg.

When a reader clicks on an affiliate link located here on ‘This Site’ to purchase an item, the reader will be buying the item directly from the advertiser or seller not from this site, ‘The Best Of Kitchen And Dining.’

The seller then pays ‘This Site’ a commission or other compensation for promoting their website or products through their affiliate programs.

Note:

Prices are exactly the same for you if your purchase is through an affiliate link or a non-affiliate link. You will not pay more by clicking through to the links provided on this site.

‘This Site,’ The Best Of Kitchen And Dining uses the following 2 types of affiliate links:

1. Amazon Affiliate Links;

This Site, www.paulmindra.com is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon properties including, but not limited to, amazon.com.

Amazon offers a small commission on products sold through their affiliate links. Each of your purchases via my Amazon affiliation links supports my website cause at no additional cost to you.

Eg.

If ‘This Site’ links to an Amazon product (with a special code for ‘This Site’ embedded in the link), and a reader places an item in their “shopping cart” through that link within 24 hours of clicking the link, then ‘This Site’ gets a small percentage of the sale.

Amazon links are not “pay per click.” If you click on the product link and stay around Amazon and purchase something else, however, ‘This Site’ will get the credit for the commission on that sale.

Anytime you see a link that looks like astore.com/… or amazon.com… it can be assumed that it is an Amazon affiliate link.

2. Product Affiliate Links;

These affiliate links work the same way but are not direct to the Amazon Affiliate Program. These types of product links might be to products and services not offered through the Amazon Affiliate Program.

If you click on one of these types of links and buy that product or service, then‘This Site’ receives a percentage of the sale or some other type of compensation. Things like e-book bundles, e-courses, and online packages are usually affiliate links, as well. Again, prices are not different if you use these affiliate links. You will not pay more by clicking through to the link. These links too, are not “pay per click”, unless otherwise denoted.

What About Sponsored Content?

I do not write sponsored posts. I want to bring you real, unbiased information. However, if a post is sponsored by a company and it is a paid sponsorship, I will disclose this clearly in the beginning of the post.

Thank you for taking the time to read this Affiliate Disclosure.
